NEST 2026 Exam Pattern
The exam is conducted in online CBT mode. It consists of four sections, each focusing on one of the four Science subjects.

Eligibility Criteria
Education
Passed Class 12 in 2024 or 2025 (or appearing in 2026) with Science stream.
Minimum Marks
60% aggregate for General/OBC (55% for SC/ST/PwD) in Class 12.
Age Limit
Born on or after August 1, 2004 (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/PwD).
Subjects
Must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics in Class 11 & 12.
